Fiona Dowd is an artist and teacher of stained glass. Her work ranges from stained glass leaded and copper foiled panels,  jewelry, and more recently sculpture. She is a native of Ireland and graduated from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelors Degree in glass design. Fiona’s art work can be found in private collections, Churches, and Castles, she has also sold her work in craft fairs and craft stores both in Ireland and TN.  She has been teaching copper foiled stained glass techniques since 2006 and still is to date.  Her current artworks consist of a series of female busts with head dresses. They were created around the idea of imagining a reality where women have always been treated as equals.
